Exploring your
new home

We hope that you get to see Abney Hall as a home away from home, after all, most of us spend over 1800 hours per year at work. To help you settle in and to make sure you get the most out of your time at Abney Hall, here are a few of the features available to you.

Shower and changing facilities

You’ll find these on the ground floor, and along with the bike store outside, they make cycling to work a practical and appealing option.

Bike store

For those who prefer a more energetic commute, we provide a secure bike store at the front of the building. To make use of it, just request a key from a member of our facilities team or from the reception team at Landmark House.

Breakout area

Our communal seating area near the ground floor kitchen is the perfect place for informal catch-ups, lunch, or just for getting away from your desk.

Historic building and rural setting

Abney Hall is a Grade II listed Victorian building that dates back to 1847 and is situated within a local nature reserve, meaning that extensive footpaths, ponds and wildlife are at your doorstep. Abney Hall’s location is perfect for that work-life balance and is a great excuse to get out of the office and explore the area.

Communal kitchens

We know how important those early morning teas and coffees are, so you’ll find these shared facilities across the ground, first and second floors.
